About Us

Our Vision

Our vision is to help create environments where brands can thrive -

Where the people who work there; believe-in & resonate with “who” the brand is; are inspired & fulfilled in what they do; motivated & clear about where the brand is going; and can grow with the brand.

We Love What We Do

At Dakota Ross, we love what we do. Over the last few years, we’ve been very focussed on building a company that we believe in and one we enjoy every day.

Looking back, the journey feels purposeful, even if we didn’t always have the exact words we use now. Our services are the expression of what we love most - and what our partners tell us they value most about working with us.

Building Trusted Relationships

When we conduct our Brand Audit, it's a reminder of those very first moments in new client relationships. Each one began differently, with its own challenges and ambitions, yet the fundamentals we uncovered at the start laid the path forward. Each project built on the last, deepening trust and impact over time.

A Shared Journey: Mount Gay Rum

What began as support for an authentic brand campaign evolved into a full Brand Anthropology journey - digging into over 300 years of heritage to connect legacy with innovation and community.

Across four years, we partnered with their team to define their global sailing strategy, lay the foundation for new innovation blends, created digital ways for sailors to connect during lockdown, designed and delivered their distillery tour experience, and served as a trusted bridge for global leaders seeking to understand the brand’s heritage.

To this day we still get asked about Mount Gay’s historical timeline!

Building from the Inside, Out: CORUS Effervescent Cocktails

With CORUS, the journey started from scratch.

Together, we identified a category, leant on the strength of culture that already exists, created the liquid, built the brand, found its name, and rallied a global network of makers and suppliers to produce it for all to enjoy.

Watching the brand and team grow and thrive, has been a testament to the power of building from the ground up with clarity, passion and belief.

Ultimately, what we’ve experienced time and again is the transformative effect of building brands from the inside out - with people and relationships at the heart of everything.

For us, it has blurred the line between work and play. Each day feels less like work and more like creating something lasting with people we trust.

SOME KIND WORDS

Many of the business relationships we've built have grown into lifelong friendships. That's how we work - through mutual trust, shared growth, and a genuine commitment to each other's success.

Working with Alex, Kodi, and Luis at Dakota Ross was transformative. They didn’t just help me build a brand; they became a part of the "Core Of Us" helping us find our voice and bring our vision to life with authenticity and purpose.

Kodi’s growth has been nothing short of inspiring. Over these years, I’ve watched him not only learn, but embody the tools and principles in ways that are uniquely his own. He has become a trusted guide for others because he has first become a true guide for himself.
